Rosa

As one of being the most popular flowers in the world, namely due to their wide variety in regards to their colour, size and fragrance. They are a symbol of lover, beauty, even war and politics. The Tudor Rose was created by Henry VII after the English War of the Roses, by crossbreeding other Roses. They are grown all over the world, however the Netherlands is the world’s leading exporter of Roses.

Uses

In Ancient Egypt, Roses were considered sacred and were used as offerings for the Goddess Isis. Products from the Rose include rose water for perfumes and rose water for cooking and cosmetics.
